A tile-laying game that is deceptively light on rules but offers a fair bit of tactical depth in terms of timing and planning out future moves. Players draw and place coloured tiles on their tableau to complete ‘districts’. Completing one in a particular colour before the other players scores higher, but matching the tiles’ motifs (which aren’t tied to any colour) across multiple districts also scores points. An interesting point here is that we discovered an unaddressed edge case in the rules where a player may not be able to draw a tile at all. We asked the client but this particular question was never answered. It has since been brought up on the BGG forums and addressed by the game’s designer, who also said it was left out of the first-printing rulebook by mistake. You can lead a horse to water, I suppose.
