This one’s basically a bestiary book for gamemasters who want to spice up their games with paranormal creatures. The book divides up the various flora and fauna by habitat regions. I got to do mountains. Donning the mantle of a biologist-slash-adventurer who had a short tale of exploits to tell for each entry was fun. The key here was to capture and convey the narrator’s enthusiasm for his chosen subject and the occasional self-deprecatory tone when relating his brushes with disaster
